Q. How do alumni and visitors create a password for their Ignacio account?

As of March 2024, alumni and visitors are required to use a password to login to their Ignacio library account. To create a new password:

1. Go to https://ignacio.ufsca.edu/patroninfo or select "Login to My Library Record" on any Ignacio page.

2. Click the Alumni & Visitors Login button and then click the "Reset your password" link. 

4. Enter your Library ID. A password reset link will be sent to the email address on file with the library. 

5. Check your email for the password reset message. If you do not receive it, check your spam/junk folder.

6. Click the reset password link and choose a new password. Password requirements: 

  • must be at least 8 characters long
  • must contain a mix of letters and numbers
  • can not contain spaces or special characters (!, #, @, etc. )

7. Once you've created a password, you will be prompted to login using your Library ID and new password.
